Started trading in 1997 the company specializes in specific categories of product which offers a complete and professional service to buyers and principals alike.

Its reputation has been built upon the ability to source the best products at the right price primarily from China. We have offices in Auckland, Taipei, Hong Kong and Ningbo to ensure a quick and efficient flow within the supply chain to ensure that the right product arrives in our customer’s hands with the minimum of fuss and maximum assurance of quality and perceived value. Of late we have begun to leverage off our very iconic company name Haka and develop branded products in apparel; protective sports gear and footwear/headwear all with the continuing support of our local iwi the Ngati Whatua tribe.

We the management and staff of HAKA NZ Ltd acknowledge the significance of using the Maori work HAKA as our company and trading name. We understand and appreciate the Maori values associated with the word HAKA and that it belongs to the Maori people of New Zealand.
We will not compromise, abuse or exploit the word HAKA. We will promote TE REO MAORI through merchandise labelling. We will support MATAURANGA MAORI through scholarships. The interpretation below was given with their blessing by the local tangata whenua, Ngati Whatua.
The word HAKA sits within the realm of MATAURANGA MAORI meaning the corpus of Maori knowledge belonging to all Maori.
